Neighbors Insurance Agency is a full-service, independent insurance agency located in Upstate New York. For over 20 years, we have been a trusted partner for businesses and individuals, providing protection against life's uncertainties. Our personalized approach to insuring your business, assets, and family is the cornerstone of our operations. Our service is built on strong values, deep expertise, and genuine care.
Founded in 1996 by Scott, originally as the Scott Smith Agency, our journey began in Sidney, NY. Scott, having worked with a larger insurance company, saw the need for a more personal touch and opened his doors without any prior customers. Over the years, we have grown significantly.
In 2000, we rebranded to Neighbors Insurance Agency and expanded with a new office in Oneonta, NY. This expansion has allowed us to serve a broader community. Each year, we are increasingly grateful for our customers and the opportunity to protect what matters most to them.
